Hello, it’s nice to meet you!

My name is Judy, and I am the owner of Artemisia Aussies and Posh Pets Grooming, located in Winnemucca, Nevada.  

I have been working with Australian Shepherds since 1996. I love the breed, and enjoy applying what I’ve learned to work with my own dogs, as well as teach in various venues such as obedience, agility, rally, fastCAT and conformation. I have also shared my knowledge and experience with juniors in 4-H. I really love seeing the young people who have learned various skills, gained confidence and made lifelong friendships during my time as a 4-H Dog leader.
As a preservation breeder, all of my dogs are health tested for genetic disorders, cleared through OFA for hips/elbows and have CAER exams yearly. All of our dogs are evaluated for their merits as well as faults when choosing breeding pairs. Artemisia Aussies is a registered ASCA Kennel.
I love being a dog groomer as my chosen profession, taking on a necessary care element for every dog. I
use my show dog style in each of the animals I groom so that they come out looking their best.
